Philia Group meet in the Haven
On Saturday May 5th the Philia Group for temporary Professed and Young Religious met in the Haven, Eltham. It was a day of reflection, prayer and supporting one another and the Haven proved to be the ideal venue for this.

Many different congregations were represented including Loreto, Holy Child, Salesians and Christian Instruction. Brother Michael Newman, a John of God brother, was also present in his role as link person for the group.

It was a great opportunity to share experiences and ideas and to discuss the ways in which we can support one another as Young Religious in this country. We put together a plan of action to encourage wider membership and participation of the group as well as creating stronger links with CoR.
I enjoyed the day, particularly meeting people with whom I had shared the Inter- Congregational Novitiate Course. I came away with a renewed energy and sense of hope and vision.
