Our works of mercy stem from the charism of Venerable Catherine McAuley who was indeed liminal for mercy and prophetic in the way she worked.

In caring for the elderly in our care homes we continue to "make mercy the business of our lives", following the teaching and example of Christ. During his public ministry he showed love and compassion to the poor and the sick. His message to us is very clear: "blessed are the merciful, they shall have mercy shown them."
We endeavour to do this by:
Human dignity: expressing a deep and evident respect for the uniqueness of each person.
Compassion: acting with sensitivity.
Justice: working in partnership for the common good of all.
